Summertime at our house involves a lot of time spent in the pool. It’s a great way to cool off on a hot day, get the kids outside in the sun and away from the TV. It always seems that when pool time is over the towels and bathing suits get dropped all over the deck. Time to make something to collect those items that makes the kids want to use it. Fingers crossed that actually happens!

Project Design

I settled on a design that represents our family and incorporates two of our favorite beach themes-sea turtles and surfboards. Not that I can surf, but it’s good to have goals! Add a sea turtle for my wife and I, and one for each of the kiddos. When I’m done they’re going to rush to the surfboard to hang-up their towels, I hope.
